Summit Fitness Training is the culmination of many years of motivating others to take up some sort of sport or activity, whether that be 100 mile backpacking trips, 50 mile bike rides, triathalons or team sports. Monique discovered that inspiring others was not only something she was good at, but something she found extremely rewarding and satisfying.

Monique observed that people maintained their activities when those activities were fun and were outdoors. Nothing revitalizes like fresh air, beautiful skies and an exhilarating activity. Functional activities, activities that people actually do, like walking, hiking, running, cycling and mountain biking, that take place outdoors, are fun and challenging and provide a great workout.

Monique is an ACE-certified Personal Trainer and is CPR certified. Before founding Summit Fitness Training, Monique worked as a software engineer and has earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering.
